It is not the first time that the Chinese market taken as a reference device to create a successful “clone”. Today it was the turn MacBok Air 13.3-inch, reproduced in a special way from Shenzhen Technology. The notebook, apparently, is the copy of “perfect” of ultra-thin Apple, except for the processor that hosts it. The clone, which we show a video, is equipped with a CPU N2800 Cedarview Atom 1.86 GHz, not yet officially launched.
The handset completes its principal equipment with 2 GB memory and a solid-state drives from 32 GB. This model provides VGA and mini-HDMI connection to TV or external display, a memory card reader and two USB 2.0 ports. The power is left to a lithium ion battery 4.400mAh. Despite the parsimony of the platform Cedar Trail, declared autonomy is around 3 hours and 30 minutes. It is not very effectively.
Interestingly, both the size and weight of this laptop are very similar to those of the giant gem of Cupertino. In fact, measures 28 x 21.9 x 1.8 cm with a total weight of 1.36 kilograms. Similarly, the MacBook Air, the frame would seem to consist of a single block. We have no objective data to determine if the build quality is similar to that of the reference model. At present, no official information has been sent around the launch price which should still be around $ 471 equivalent.
